Theme Installation
- Log in to the wp-admin dashboard
- Go to Appearance >> Themes
- Click Add New
- Search ‘Blog Up’ in the search field
- Click on the ‘Blog Up’ on the search result and activate it
Alternatively, you can download blog-up.zip from the theme directory. Upload the zip file and activate it.
Theme Customizer
- Go to Appearance >> Customize
- Click on ‘Site Identity’ to customize the logo, site title, tagline, favicon, etc
- Click on ‘Theme Options’ to customize the header, banner, featured posts slider, breadcrumb, shop page, blog, footer of the site and other options
Site Identity, Logo and Favicon Setup
Go to Appearance >> Customize and Click on ‘Site Identity’
Logo
You can upload your logo here
Height of Logo
You can set the height of your logo. The width will be automatically calculated based on the height you set.
Site Title
This is the title of your entire website
Tagline
Here you can add the tagline or slogan of your website
Hide Site Title
Click here if you like to hide the site title on the header of your website
Hide Tagline
Click here if you like to hide the tagline on the header of your website
Site Icon
This is the option to add a favicon of your website
Banner Setup
- Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Options >> Banner
- Click on Enable Banner to enable the banner on your site
- Banner Height: Set the height of a banner
- Banner Image: Select an image for a banner
- Heading: Option to add the heading of your banner
- Button Text: Text to use for a button
- Button Link: Add a link to the button
Click on Publish at the top of the customizer to save the changes
Featured Posts Setup
- Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Options >> Featured Posts
- Click on Enable Featured Posts to enable the featured posts listing
- Select Categories: Option to select categories of featured posts. The latest posts from the selected categories will be shown as featured posts.
Click on ‘Publish’ at the top of the customizer to save the changes
Breadcrumb Setup
- Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Theme Options >> Breadcrumb
- Click on Enable Breadcrumb to enable breadcrumb on your site
- Select Rank Math or Yoast SEO to use the breadcrumb of these plugins.
Note: Either Rank Math or Yoast SEO plugin must be installed and active to use breadcrumb.

Menu Setup
- Go to Appearance >> Menus
- Click on create a new menu, name it Main Menu, Footer Menu or anything you wish.
- Add Pages, Posts, Categories, Custom Links or other options available
- Assign (check) the Primary menu location if you want to show it to the header or assign it to Footer Menu if you want to show this menu on the footer of a site
- Click on the Save Menu button to save the changes
Sidebar Setup
- Go to Appearance >> Widgets
- Select the Sidebar widget area
- Add blocks you like to show in the sidebar
- You can add multiple widgets as per your requirements
- Click on the Update button at the top right to save the changes and we are done
Footer Widgets Setup
- Go to Appearance >> Widgets
- Add blocks you like to show in Footer 1, Footer 2, and Footer 3 respectively
- Leave it empty if you want to hide any footer widget
Change Copyright Text
- Go to Appearance >> Customize
- Click on ‘Theme Options’ >> ‘Footer’ and update the copyright text you want to use.
- Copyright text supports two shortcodes [the-year] and [the-site-title]. The first shortcode is used to show the current year and the second one shows the title of the current website.
